FAQ
What is the procedure for commissioning a mosaic?
First thing is to communicate the initial ideas and a proposed budget. These are then discussed based upon the artist’s design ideas and suggestions of materials. Once both parties are in agreement, a schedule is agreed upon.
How long does it take to complete a commission?
This depends entirely on the commitments of the studio and the size of the project. Many of the pieces in the photo gallery took over a month to make.
Does a piece have to be constructed on site?
No, the mosaics are created in the studio and then, once completed, transported for an installation at their final destination.
What kinds of materials are typically used for mosaic?
Tile, marble, and glass.
How does one determine the cost of a commissioned mosaic?
Cost depends on the complexity of the design, the size of the pieces used, and the type of materials used to complete the mosaic.
Does Anne do all the work?
